Our Mission

Zwicker Healing Arts began as a one woman show. A mix of trainings, modalities and offerings cultivated by Sydney’s own passion for safe and grounded spaces of body-centered healing, Over the years, this container shifted from just client work, to the mentorship of other women in the healing arts, bringing back the lineage of apprenticeship and collective oriented healing.

Practitioners at Zwicker Healing Arts all orient to the same simple philosophy. Everything can heal.

We believe there is no one way, nor right way to heal. It’s a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and a whole lot of courage. Every person is different, and we co-create the space for healing together.

We incorporate nervous system supportive touch modalities to help you come home to your body and cultivate safety within.

About Sydney

Founder; Women’s Health Mentor + Bodyworker

I came to this work through my own healing from sexual abuse in my late teens. In my search to find healing, I tried it all. From alcohol and meaningless drunk sex, to talk therapy, dance therapy, jade eggs, energy healings, hitting a giant foam block with a baseball bat, screaming into a pillow, and everything in between. Though each time I removed a layer of the hurt, I still always felt like there was something stuck in my body.

Then I found Holistic Pelvic Care, and my world opened. It was still my story, but I no longer carried it in my body.

I remember early on my exploration I often felt turned off by the women’s wellness world. Often in women’s work, there is a notion that one has to start saying, ‘Oh my Goddess’ or buy a one-way ticket to Bali to start healing her relationship to the feminine. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but for many women, including myself, this seemed silly and inaccessible.

I come from a family of doctors and lawyers, and I love to know ‘how things work’. I love applying the physiology and anatomy to this intuitive work. My approach to all things pelvic health has always stemmed from this idea that to really embrace the mystery of the woo-woo womb, we also have to ground this experience.

I work with clients to bring together these two worlds. I believe we create connection in the pelvis, not only by understanding the body but also by experiencing it.

Healing my root has completely altered the way I walk through life. It has given me the capacity to navigate the hard and receive the goodness this wild ride has to offer. It is my deepest honor to support women into reorienting safety in their body.

My intention is to give women the tools to journey into wholeness. I work with clients using the body, breath, intentional movement, and educational anatomy to help each person find their own healing potential. My work focuses in nervous system healing through non-agenda touch. My offerings to this community include Sovereign Touch Bodywork + Pelvic Care for women. I also specialize in TMJ massage and deep nervous system reset offerings.
